Who are the programs for?
GWI’s programs have been developed specifically for girls and young women, 14-24. However, we are open to all students and do not exclude based on gender. Students from anywhere in the world may join our program, although class times are based on eastern time zones in the USA.
How long is the academy program?
The live, online academy program consists of 9 live classes. There is a 1-hour graduation after completion, taking the total length of the program to 10-weeks.
Our summer live, online academy is 5 weeks (1 week orientation plus 8 classes over 5 weeks.

Enrolling in a Girls With Impact program is a simple process designed to ensure students have everything they need before classes begin. Below are the steps students will go through:
Reserve a Place – Students fill out a short form and complete the checkout process using a scholarship code if applicable. This step secures their spot in the program.
Introduction – Two weeks before the session starts, students receive detailed class information, including schedules and access instructions.
Attend Classes Online – Students participate in live, interactive online sessions led by expert instructors. These classes provide engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world applications.
Updates – Throughout the program, students receive regular updates on course progress, deadlines, and additional opportunities for engagement.
Completion – At the end of the program, all students receive their digital micro-credentials via email. Innovation Academy students and their guests are invited to attend a live, virtual graduation event to celebrate their accomplishments.
This streamlined process ensures every student is fully prepared to make the most of their experience with GWI.
