Part-Time Positions

  • Girls With Impact Instructor

    Description: Host business and leadership classes weekly to a cohort of 30, 14-24 year old students. Empower the next generation of female leaders to impact the community and their own success.

    Profile: MBA or similar masters, ages 30-65, current or past business/corporate experience, high energy passionate

    Commitment: 6 hours a week, min. 1 year

    Pay: $900-$1100 per cohort

  • Growth Operations Associate

    Description: The Growth Operations Associate will support the systems, projects, and day-to-day work that help power growth across the organization — from development and partnerships to operational initiatives and select event support. Reporting to the President / COO, this role will help keep important details moving behind the scenes so the team can operate efficiently and stay focused on growth.

    This is a role for someone who is sharp, dependable, systems-comfortable, and energized by helping good ideas turn into action. The right person will be comfortable working across spreadsheets, CRM systems, materials, research, and project support — all while helping the organization stay organized, responsive, and moving forward.

GWI Internship Program

Girls With Impact offers a dynamic internship experience for emerging professionals looking to gain meaningful experience in nonprofit management, youth programming, and community engagement. Interns work directly with staff leads across our departments to build real-world skills while contributing to impactful work that empowers the next generation of young women leaders.

All internships are remote-first with opportunities for in-person engagement and event participation. While unpaid, all interns receive mentorship, professional development support, and reimbursements for approved travel expenses. Minimum commitment: 5–10 hours per week for one academic term (fall, spring, or summer)

High Impact Volunteer Positions

  • Girls With Impact Mentor

    Description: Meet with your matched mentee to assist them in bringing their venture project to life, network, and prepare for college/career. Empower the next generation of female leaders to impact the community and their own success.

    Profile: Age 30-50, male or female, business or corporate experience (unpaid), MBA or similar masters preferable but not required

    Commitment: 1 hour or 4hr/month, min. 1 year

    Pay: Unpaid volunteer opportunity

  • GWI Connecticut Regional Board

    Description: If you’re passionate about empowering the next generation and ready to use your influence for good, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

    As part of Girls With Impact’s mission to serve 50,000 young women, we’re building a high-powered Connecticut Regional Board to drive local growth and engagement. You’ll help lead the charge—opening doors to donors, building community support, and fueling our campaign to ignite the futures of young women across the state.

  • PR Ambassador

    Description: If you have a strong background in media relations and a passion for advancing women's leadership, this is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in support of a national mission.

    Girls With Impact is seeking an experienced media professional to lead national and regional visibility efforts through strategic placements in top tier print publications. You will work directly with the CEO, an established media spokesperson with press ready assets, to craft compelling narratives, pitch feature stories, and secure coverage that amplifies GWI’s mission, impact, and brand.

  • Op-Ed Ambassador

    Description: If you are a skilled writer with a passion for elevating thought leadership and shaping public dialogue, this is an opportunity to make a strategic impact on a national scale.

    Girls With Impact is seeking an Op-Ed Ambassador to help position the organization as a leading voice at the intersection of Gen Z, women’s leadership, education, and workforce development. In this volunteer role, you will work directly with the CEO to develop and place timely, compelling op-eds in major publications. You’ll help translate GWI’s insights, data, and stories into powerful narratives that engage policymakers, business leaders, and the public.
