The Girls With Impact Ecosystem

You finished the program. You’re still one of us.

Girls With Impact isn’t a course you complete and close. Everything below stays available to you — mentorship, careers, community, clubs, and the network you’re now part of — for as long as you want it.

Five things that keep going after graduation

Every part of the GWI experience now connects to the next one. A conversation in a club leads to a mentor. A mentor conversation leads to an internship. An event leads to the person who tells you about the next thing. This page is a map of what you already have access to.

01

Mentorship, whenever you need it

NextGen Mentorship works differently from a cohort program: you choose the topic first, then request a professional whose experience fits what you’re working on. One conversation, or a relationship that lasts years.

Pick your topic. Career mapping, resume, interview prep, asking for a raise, moving out, or an open agenda.
Browse real profiles. Mentors are background-checked, trained, and visible only when they’re actually available.
Come prepared. The Mentorship Toolkit has conversation guides, goal-setting worksheets, and session templates.
Become one. Alumni mentor the students coming up behind them — the most common way graduates stay involved.
02

Careers and opportunities you’d otherwise miss

Career Connect brings employers into the community instead of leaving you to find them. Partner companies introduce themselves, their culture, and their openings directly.

Find Opportunities. Internships, jobs, scholarships, competitions, and leadership openings, posted as they come in.
Partner profiles. See what a company is actually like — employee stories, day-in-the-life, office tours, career paths.
Career Q&A. Ask professionals about resumes, interviews, and college-or-career decisions, and get an answer from someone who does the job.
Events & workshops. Virtual sessions, partner workshops, networking, and office visits.
03

A community that doesn’t empty out when your cohort ends

The hardest part of finishing a program is losing the people in it. The Community Hub keeps them — plus everyone from every other cohort, club, and region.

Member Directory
Search the whole network by interest, background, and location. Message people directly.
Introduce Yourself
New members introduce themselves and get welcomed by people who’ve been where they are.
GWI Events
Workshops, panels, BreakRoom conversations, and leadership breakfasts — all in one calendar.
04

SheLeads Clubs

Start a club, lead one, or keep supporting the one you started. Club leadership is one of the clearest ways graduates keep building — with resources so you’re never planning a meeting from scratch.

A session library and ready-to-use meeting resources
Promotional and marketing assets for recruiting members
The Club Leader Hub — planning, growth, and facilitation guidance
Club Community, where captains across the country trade what worked
05

Alumni & leadership

Being an alum isn’t a mailing list. It’s a role — and there are several to choose from, depending on how much time you have and what you want to practice.

The GWI Alumni Network and Alumni Boardroom
Speaking on a BreakRoom panel or at a GWI event
Serving as an ambassador, recruiter, or peer mentor
Taking part in GWI research that shapes the programs
Volunteering, professional development, and networking
How it fits together

The journey is a loop, not a finish line

Most people move through these stages more than once — leading a club, then mentoring, then coming back for a career conversation years later.
