Welcoming Laura Breslaw to the Girls With Impact New York Regional Board

“Girls With Impact matters to me because it gives young women something that changes trajectories early: confidence, skills, and belief in what’s possible. I’ve seen firsthand how access to role models, real-world professional experience, and encouragement shapes ambition.”

-Laura Breslaw

Girls With Impact is thrilled to welcome Laura Breslaw to the GWI New York Regional Board. As a leader whose career and community commitment reflect a deep and enduring investment in the next generation of women, Laura brings a wealth of experience and passion to our organization.

As a four-time Chief Marketing Officer and growth advisor, Laura has led marketing and go-to-market strategy for global organizations including Deloitte, Capgemini, BCG and AlixPartners. Known for turning strategy into measurable results, she has helped companies accelerate growth, strengthen customer engagement, and build high-performing teams. Today, as fractional and interim CMO for TechCXO, she partners with CEOs, founders, and private equity sponsors to bring revenue marketing disciplines to scaling businesses, ensuring every investment drives impact, efficiency, and ROI.

Alongside her professional achievements, Laura’s story is equally defined by a consistent thread of mentorship and community engagement.

For decades, she has dedicated her time to supporting young women, from serving as a Big Sister and volunteering with organizations like New York Cares and Riverdale Neighborhood House, to teaching at All Souls Church and mentoring high school students across New York City. Whether through one-on-one relationships or broader community initiatives, her work has centered on helping young women build confidence, expand their horizons, and recognize their potential.

“Girls With Impact matters to me because it gives young women something that changes trajectories early: confidence, skills, and belief in what’s possible,” Laura shares. “I’ve seen firsthand how access to role models, real-world professional experience, and encouragement shapes ambition.”

That belief has been shaped by her own experiences mentoring girls at formative moments in their lives. Through simple but meaningful connections, conversation, shared experiences, and curiosity, Laura has witnessed the lasting impact of early support, both for the young women she worked with and for herself.

“Those experiences reinforced a belief I still carry: talent is everywhere, opportunity is not, and early investment matters,” she says.

Laura is excited to deepen her community engagement and invest her time and resources in an organization with measurable impact and momentum.

“I have tremendous respect for what Jennifer and the Girls With Impact team have built,” she says. She’s looking forward to helping expand the organization’s presence, partnerships, and fundraising efforts in New York.

Laura’s strategic expertise, leadership experience, and lifelong commitment to mentoring make her an invaluable addition to our New York Regional Board. We are thrilled to be able to benefit from the perspective and energy she brings as we continue to scale our impact and empower the next generation of women leaders.
