We’ve helped more than 20,000 young women build their confidence and capabilities. Now, we’re helping them build the connections to take those skills even further.
Today, Girls With Impact is launching GWI Connect, our new private digital community and mobile app designed to connect young women with mentors, peers, career opportunities and resources, all in one place.
It’s an exciting next chapter for GWI and for the thousands of young women who are part of our growing community.
Because Your GWI Journey Shouldn’t End When a Program Does
Since 2018, Girls With Impact has reached more than 20,000 young women across all 50 states and over 60 countries, helping them develop the confidence and real-world skills they need for college, careers and life.
But we know that skills are only part of the equation.
As young women move from high school to college and into their first careers, new questions come up. What career is right for me? How do I land an internship? How do I prepare for an interview? Who can I talk to about navigating college? How do I enter a new industry?
That’s where connections matter.
With GWI Connect, young women will have a community they can return to as their goals grow and change.

Available online and through the new GWI mobile app, GWI Connect brings the broader Girls With Impact experience together in one private community.
Members can connect with mentors around their academic, career and professional goals; meet peers and GWI alumni from across the country; discover internships, scholarships, workshops and events; access SheLeads Club resources; explore careers and insights from GWI and our corporate partners; and stay connected to GWI from high school through college and early career.
The result? A network that grows alongside you.
Imagine joining a GWI program at 16, discovering an internship at 18, finding a mentor to help navigate college at 20 and returning to your GWI network for guidance as you launch your career.

Meet NextGen Mentorship
GWI Connect is also home to NextGen Mentorship, our newly redesigned mentorship experience.
And we’re changing the traditional mentorship model.
Instead of simply being assigned a mentor, young women start with what they need.
Maybe you’re curious about a career in finance or technology. Maybe you’re preparing for your first big interview. Maybe you’re making a college decision, learning about personal finance or trying to build your professional network.
With NextGen Mentorship, you can identify your goal, explore mentorship topics and find an available mentor whose experience matches what you want to accomplish.
A mentorship could be one meaningful conversation that gives you the answer or confidence you need. Or it could continue as your goals evolve.
It also gives mentors more flexibility. Mentors can choose the areas where they can make the greatest impact and indicate when they’re available to connect.
